inauguration

Aretha Franklin sang the national anthem.

We recieved a new Vice President.

Yo Yo Ma was there to play in a quartet, a piece written especially for today.

We recieved a new President.

He spoke of remembering the faith, hardships and struggles of our fathers.

He reminded us that wealth didn't come from the rich, it came from people who worked hard for a long time.

Elizabeth Alexander read poetry... I didn't hear much of it because Maja woke up.
