A good article. I wish I had read this article 25 and 23 years ago. I remember the pain my little ones had after the procedure. David came back PURPLE after the procedure in the hospital at 2 days old because he had cried so hard, had mucous clogging his airways and couldn't catch his breath Royce was done at 4 months old and his took so long to heal.....and wet diapers didn't help it either. Any air in contact with it hurt horribly. Truly an uncomfortable ordeal. Why do it when there is no religious significance? Why do it so daddy and son 'look' alike? (one reason out there for doing it) It used to be a health concern....not so much anymore due to medical/daily cleanliness habits. Things to think about......
